When I write publicly about books that I’ve enjoyed, it’s not criticism, it’s enthusiasm.
There are more qualified people who review books with a critical eye. But when I read a good book, I like to share what I most enjoyed about it. I won’t be giving time and space to speculation on what could have been improved. (That’s something I might do for other writer friends at their request.) But here, I just want to wax poetic about what I most liked.
