Hello, I’m Caye Marsh.
I was once a biologist — I have autopsied dolphins, collected blood from clams, harvested radioactive tissue from catfish, and cultivated cacao-parasitic fungi in the lab. I aspire to community service — I have built homes in Nicaragua, restored estuaries in Mexico, marched and written letters and picked up trash. I am a parent — I have experienced fertility issues and pregnancy loss, childbirth and breastfeeding, endless colds and public schooling.
Now I am a writer — sci-fi and fantasy, post-apocalyptic and queer-normalized, alien life and demons and androids and old women. My work contains the distilled tinctures of my personal zeitgeist.
Thank you for reading.
